Vigorous growing, drought tolerant CA native well suited for large areas, meadows, or as a mowed lawn substitute. Slender, 12” long leaves tend to quickly flop over creating smooth undulating, soft green carpets.
 
Beautiful as a manicured lawn and can tolerate light foot traffic. Sun, light shade, most soils, moderate to little water. While available in sod form, this grass tends to establish stronger when planted from plugs or by direct seeding. Hardy to 10°.
